 We connect assessors, certifiers, scheme owners, regulators, and accreditation bodies from all over the world.   We serve as a vibrant hub for networking and collaboration among professionals and organizations in the field of conformity assessment. By connecting members across industries and regions, CAS promotes knowledge exchange, professional growth, and joint initiatives that advance best practices. Strategic partnerships with global associations, certification organizations, and standardization institutions strengthen CAS’s impact and foster a globally recognized, cooperative community dedicated to quality, trust, and competence. 

CAS provides thought leadership, expert forums, technical guidance, and publications to advance the field.   Through webinars, articles, case studies, and interactive forums, we provide members with access to up-to-date information and practical insights in conformity assessment. By fostering peer exchange and professional dialogue, we help build collective expertise and supports continuous learning across the global conformity assessment community. 

We provide trainings related to testing, inspection, certification and accreditation topics.  We support the professional growth of conformity assessment practitioners by promoting access to high-quality, recognized training. While not a training provider itself, CAS collaborates with trusted organizations and endorses programs that meet international standards, helping members identify credible learning paths that enhance competence and global recognition.   

Through partnerships, peer learning, and tools, we enhance the competencies of professionals involved in conformity assessment.   CAS actively contributes to strengthening the capabilities of professionals and organizations in conformity assessment. Through mentoring, expert guidance, and tailored initiatives, we support the development of skills and systems needed to meet international standards—promoting sustainable growth, competence, and global trust in the conformity assessment community. 

We contribute to international standardization and regulatory dialogues to promote harmonization and equivalence.  Our members participate actively  in policy discussions to represent the interests of the conformity assessment community. By engaging with regulators, standardization bodies, and international organizations, we help shape fair and effective policies while keeping its members informed about key regulatory trends and developments. 

 CAS facilitates access to expert consulting services from/to members seeking support in areas like accreditation readiness, management system implementation, or scheme development. By connecting professionals with trusted specialists, we help strengthen technical competence and ensure alignment with international conformity assessment standards. 

The Conformity Assessment Society (CAS) is pleased to release its official guidance on how members can earn Continuing Development Units (CDUs) as part of their ongoing professional development [Referred also as Continuing Education Units (CEUs)]. CDUs recognize structured learning across a wide range of CAS and external activities. 

Members can now earn CDUs through CAS membership (1.5 CDUs), participation in Working Groups or Technical Committees (2 CDUs), publishing articles in CADigest (2 CDUs), submitting technical notes to the CAS website (1 CDU), CAS internships (0.5 CDU/month), volunteer service (0.5 CDU per 10 hours) and CAS trainings with 1 CDU = 10 hours of structured, verifiable learning.
