The Conformity Assessment Society (CAS) is pleased to release its official guidance on how members can earn Continuing Development Units (CDUs) as part of their ongoing professional development [Referred also as Continuing Education Units (CEUs)]. CDUs recognize structured learning across a wide range of CAS and external activities.
Members can now earn CDUs through CAS membership (1.5 CDUs), participation in Working Groups or Technical Committees (2 CDUs), publishing articles in CADigest (2 CDUs), submitting technical notes to the CAS website (1 CDU), CAS internships (0.5 CDU/month), volunteer service (0.5 CDU per 10 hours) and CAS trainings with 1 CDU = 10 hours of structured, verifiable learning.
