Course Description

 The Conformity Assessment Society (CAS) presents the "Training Providers ASTM E2659" Certificate Course, a structured self-study program designed to provide a comprehensive and practical understanding of quality requirements for certificate programs. 

Based on internationally recognized principles, the course explains the distinction between certificate programs and personnel certification, emphasizing learning outcomes, assessment integrity, and program design. Participants will explore requirements for certificate issuers, including governance, management systems, and stakeholder communication, as well as instructional design, summative assessment, and program evaluation. 

The course includes guided modules and a final online exam, ensuring participants can effectively develop, implement, and evaluate high-quality certificate programs in accordance with ASTM E2659-24.

The course has been developed by a team of Conformity Assessment experts exclusively for the Conformity Assessment Society.

Course Format

This self-study course is delivered in a structured, interactive format designed to balance self-paced learning with knowledge validation.  Self-paced, self-study courses offer the flexibility to learn anytime and anywhere, allowing participants to progress at their own speed while balancing professional and personal commitments.

Pre-Course Material Delivery

Upon registration, participants receive access to a digital course pack, including:

- A Participant Guide with all lesson notes, reading materials, and key definitions.

- Selected related study material.

- Exercises and Case studies illustrating real-world conformity assessment scenarios.

Materials are provided in PDF format and can be downloaded for offline study.

Assessment

At the end of the course, participants take an online test. The test includes multiple-choice questions. Passing grade: 70% or higher.

Certificate of Completion

Participants who successfully pass the final assessment receive a digital certificate verifying their achievement.

The certificate can be shared on LinkedIn or included in professional development records.

Successful completion of the course awards 2.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), equivalent to 25 hours of structured learning.

Registration Deadline

- Participants can register by June 13, 2026.

- The course will run from June 15, 2026 through June 29, 2026.

- The material will be released June 15, 2026. Participants will have to complete the final test by June 29, 2026.

A 60% discount is provided  for Conformity Assessment Society members, course participation fee USD $100 for CAS members!
